Pastor

Dr. Craig Hudgins was called to be the pastor of West End Baptist Church in February 2019. He has served in ministry for the last 18 years as a Youth Pastor, Minister of Music, and Associate Pastor. 

Around 2017 He started feeling the tug on his heart to Pastor. He started praying and taking the steps in that direction. In November of 2018, he started with a small group of people meeting in a house and praying for God’s direction. In January of 2019, they started having services with the people of West End and in February of 2019 God answered his prayers and he was called as Pastor of West End Baptist Church and the two congregations were joined together.

Pastor Hudgins received his Bachelors Degree from New England Theological Seminary, a Masters Degree from Louisiana Baptist University, and earned his Doctorate Degree from Louisiana Baptist University. 

He and his wife, Sandy, have two children. Their son Stephen Hudgins, who passed away on October 7, 2018, and daughter Elizabeth Landers.
