How it all started...
West End Baptist Church has been a faithful part of the Social Circle community since 1923. For many years, the church gathered in the town school house, which served as a central place of worship and fellowship. In 1961, the building was officially deeded to the church, marking a significant step in our growth and ministry. For over a century, we've seen God's hand at work-changing lives, strengthening families, and building His kingdom.
Expanding the vision...
In recent years, West End Baptist Church has seen great growth, both spiritually and in attendance, as we have focused on discipleship and reaching others. Through strong Bible teaching, small groups, and encouragement to grow in our faith, our church family has become closer and more connected. We also have a strong desire to share the love of Christ with our community and beyond through meaningful outreach. From children and student ministries to missions and worship, we thank God for how He continues to bless our church as we seek to follow His call.
Where we are headed...
As we look to the days ahead, we do so with hearts full of expectation and faith. At West End Baptist Church, we are relying on God's direction and trusting Him to guide our steps. We believe the best is yet to come as we continue to follow His leading, reach more people with the Gospel, and grow together in His Word. Our desire is to remain faithful, flexible, and full of faith-ready to embrace the opportunities God places before us and continue making an eternal impact for His Kingdom.
