SPIRITUAL WARFARE WEEK 3

Oct 25, 2026  •  Craig Hudgins

What does it actually mean to suit up for a spiritual battle we cannot see with our eyes? In this powerful conclusion to a series on spiritual warfare, we dig into Ephesians 6 and discover that the fight is not something we opt into — we are already in it. The apostle Paul writes to the brethren, not to warn them that a battle might come, but to equip them for the one already raging around them. The armor of God — the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit — is not decorative. Each piece serves a purpose, and each piece is our personal responsibility to put on. We cannot delegate this to someone else, just as we cannot send someone else to live our lives for us. The deeper we look into this passage, the more we realize that spiritual readiness is not reserved for the spiritually elite. It is available to every one of us, exactly where we are.
